I just got this reddness a couple weeks ago. I don't have acne, but occasionally pimples. I used to use a dial soap anti -bacterial on my face for years but switched recently to a clean and clear product with micro scrubbers in it(oil free). I been switching products to find the best clean and clear product the last few weeks, because it seems that each one dry's my face alot. Also, I could be getting the irritation all the sudden because I been shaving as a 25 year old male every day instead of every other day. It's just around my mustache area. I take the mach 3 razor and instead of going down on my mustache, I go up it starting with the corner of mouth and sliding the razor up to my nose , I do that about 2 or 3 times. I use a gillettee gel and then rinse off. Could it be that ? So , it's either the shaving process, which I could try a electric razor, or its just becasue my skin is too dry, but I tried a nuetrogena oil free moisturizer ,could it be that causing it.
Why am I getting this irritation or reddness all the sudden around my mustache area and nose?

You poor man, that is just terrible, it could be your just drying out your skin, try not putting soap on that area of your face, only wash that area every three days…..and at night use a moisturizer, you will be ok, if it gets worse use some cortizone cream, you can find it at the drug store…
