Does Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Soap clear existing pimples?

by admin on August 5, 2009

Hi im thinking about buying Tea Tree Oil soap for my regular teenage occasionally blemished skin.

They describe it as helping control blemishes. Control? Please could someone specify. Im mostly inmterested in clearing my invisible but soon-to-be-spots pimples.

1) Does it prevent pimples/spots forming?
2) Does it help clear existing pimples?
3) Does it help clear existing spots?

Thanks.

I wouldn't advise you to get the soap. You should get pure tea-tree oil though.
the soap would dry your skin and also the t-tree oil:skin contact time is very little for beneficial results!!

I had really horrible acne and have read alot on the topic.
I have found that Tea-tree and lavender oil are the best remedy for acne.

follow these steps and you should see results in 4 days:
-wash your face with water (water only…no face wash or soap) you could use rose water as it is a good tonic
-pat dry your skin
-apply a very light moisturiser (light doesn't oil free!!)
-and then apply a drop of tea-tree oil on your finger, and rub it on the pimple until it gets absorbed (you might want to start off with diluted tea-tree. drop of tea-tree and a drop of water (you could use lavender oil instead or combine both)

If you feel a new bump (a pimple to be)on your face, take an ice cube and rub it over the pimple for 5 minutes. and then follow the steps above. (ice slows down bacteria metabolism and tea-tree oil kills them!!!)

as you get used to tea-tree oil on your face, you could apply more!!
yu could also repeat the application more than once a day, however, make sure you don't expose the area to direct sunlight!!!

hope it could help
